basICColor input 6 Pro represents a new dimension in camera profiling. Thanks to the integrated profile editing in color and grayscale, individual looks can be immediately integrated into the camera profiles. This means that rework is no longer necessary for many jobs. The quality of the profiles can be increased by adjusting the lighting (shading) on a white surface.
The color characteristic of the camera / lens combination is automatically determined by analyzing the recording of a camera target. The automatic color correction offers a perfect basis for your own adjustments. basICColor input 6 automatically distinguishes whether it is raw data or TIFF or JPEG and creates a suitable DCP (for the Adobe Raw workflow) or ICC profile (for TIFF / JPEG) with perfect detail drawing even in the depths.
If input colors of images (or scans) have to be right the first time, you need basICColor input 6. By analyzing the image of a camera target, the color characteristics of the camera / lens combination are determined automatically. Multi-target profiling
With this technology, several targets can be calculated into one profile. Thus, the camera profile is optimally adapted to the material properties of the objects to be recorded and object metamerism is avoided.
Spot Color Correction
In addition to the standard camera target, it is also possible to measure a fabric color using colorimetry and to take this into account when profiling for better reproduction.
Raw-Profiling
In addition to the ICC profile creation, input recognizes (almost) every raw format and creates DCPs from it, which can be used immediately in Adobe Camera Raw or Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
Profile Editing
basICColor input 6 Pro automatically optimizes saturated colors, but also allows individual editing of colors and grayscale, which is immediately written into the generated profile. The changes are always checked visually and numerically.
This can be used to reproduce individual colors even more precisely, but also for a "creative retouch" directly via the camera profile.
