The Ihara S650/655 series spherical spectrophotometer uses a small spherical cavity to gather the light from the sample. This allows much more of the reflected light to be sampled and increases the accuracy for tough-to-measure samples including: metalic inks, metalic paints, curved or bumpy surfaces and textiles.

The device works well in stand-alone mode but there is an interface cable and Windows software for interfacing with your computer.
